RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITIES: COSMETOLOGISTS

As a cosmetologist in rural and remote areas, you may be trusted with confidential information, including disclosures of domestic violence and child abuse. By educating yourself, you can become more sensitive to the issues and learn how to create an atmosphere of openness. This may
encourage victims of domestic violence to
come forward and break the cycle of abuse in
their lives.

For more information and/or to receive a free “Guide for Clergy” booklet, please contact the nearest domestic violence/sexual assault program or the Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault toll free number at:

1-800-990-3877

Resource Booklets were made possible through a project of:
North Dakota Council on Abuse Women's Services
Montana Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
