There are at least four spiritual dimensions inherent in crisis of violence: (1) The fundamental experience that they are life-threatening; (2) the sense of shame and humiliation, (3) issues of trust and betrayal, particularly as they relate to our capacities for a relationship to God, (4) the need for others to provide and for victims to accept help in healing the wounds.

Pursue collaborative leadership. Seek out knowledgeable leadership for projects. People need vision and guidance and it can be provided by those who have knowledge and experience in the field.
