Project
Through
the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Project, a statewide Sexual Assault
Prevention Coordinator and a Public Policy Analyst became part of the
WCADVSA team in 2002.
The Sexual Assault Prevention Coordinator provides training across the
state on sexual assault issues. She has developed a twelve-hour sexual
assault training for advocates and a training curriculum appropriate for
use in schools. She also provides technical assistance and support to
the 23 member programs through the development of Sexual Assault Awareness
Month materials.
The Public Policy Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring and
developing domestic violence public policy. She provides education and
technical assistance to Wyoming communities and the Wyoming Legislature
about public policy that impacts victims of domestic violence and the
Coalition members. She also works with WCADVSA staff, membership, and
the Legislative Committee to research and analyze the impact of domestic
violence and sexual assault public policy at the local, state and federal
level.
